Bill was born June 10, 1930 in Akron. He was a graduate of Akron High School, class of 1952. Mr. Whitlocke was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Air Force. He worked at Harrison Radiator Plant in Lockport and retired after 35 years. Bill was a member of St. Teresa’s RC Church in Akron where he served as an usher for many years. He was also a member of the VFW Post #3180 in Akron. In his spare time Bill enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Family: Beloved husband of Elaine (Campbell) Whitlocke, whom he married Nov. 19, 1983 and the late Mary (Grier) Whitlocke; dear father of William (Tracy) Whitlocke of Akron, Joseph Whitlocke of Akron, Linda (Matthew) Clark of Parish, NY, Annette Hoiensahl of Akron, Laura (Don) Sommer of Ga, Roy Hoiensahl of Naples, Fl, Wayne Richardson of Co, William Richardson of Va. and James Richardson of Java, NY; loving grandfather of 21 grandchildren and the late Eric Whitlocke and 4 great grandchildren; brother of Alberta (late Gordon) Baker, Anna (Harold) Brandt both of Lockport, NY and the late Margaret Booth.
