	Place of Passing:	At the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester following a lengthy illness.
	Resided in:	Akron, NY
	History:	Skip was a 1978 Graduate of Akron High School. He worked as a roofer for Vesroi in Lancaster, NY and as a security guard at the Rez Smoke Shop in Basom, NY for 10 years. Skip was a car enthusiast, enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, hunting deer and turkey and especially enjoyed playing horseshoes.
	Family:	He was the son of Timothy and the late L. Karen (Parker) Jones. Husband of Venessa (Witkop) Jones; loving father of Samantha Lois and Henryetta Venessa Jones; brother of Thomas, Allan, Kayleen (Duane) Abrams and the late David Jones all of Basom, NY; son in-law of Lois (late Calvin) Witkop; several nieces and nephews also survive.
	Viewing info:	The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 PM in the funeral home, Rev. Bruce Donley, Pastor of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville, will officiate.
	Burial:	Burial will be in the St. Michael's Cemetery in Wolcottsville.
	Memorials:	In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Skip's memory to Upstate New York Transplant Services, 110 Broadway, Buffalo, NY 14203.
