  Mrs. Schoenwetter was a devoted homemaker for her husband and two children for many years. She worked for Curtiss Wright During WWII. Sophie was a member of St. Teresa's RC Church in Akron. She enjoyed cooking, beadwork, reading and walking.
Family:
  She was the daughter of the late John and Mary(Matuszewski) Kochinski. Loving wife of the late William Schoenwetter, who died in 1994; dear Mother of Paul (Shirley) and Carl (Jan)Schoenwetter both of Akron; Grandmother of James, Jeff (Kelley) and Mary Schoenwetter; Great-Grandmother of Mallory and Austin Schoenwetter; predeceased by eight brothers and sisters William, Evelyn, Clara, Stephanie, Ray, Paul, Peter and Adam; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Viewing info:
  The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Teresa's RC Church, Akron.
Burial:
  Burial will be in St. Teresa's Cemetery, Akron.
