  He graduated from McKinley High School in Buffalo and went on to graduate with a degree from Bryant & Stratton Business School. Mr. Giordano was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as an Accountant for Siegfried Construction in Buffalo, retiring after many years. Mr. Giordano also attended St. Teresa's RC Church in Akron.
Family:
  He was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Anzalone) Giordano. Loving husband of Sandy (Mazzarise) Giordano (married March 31, 1951); dear father of Deborah (David) Yaiser of Gasport, NY and Michele (Mark) Dranger of Tonawanda, NY; cherished grandfather of Rachel, Matthew, Ashley, Nicole and Mark Jr.; dear brother of Mary (late Joseph) Mecca of Akron, NY and the late Jean Rodriguez; uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Viewing info:
  The family will receive friends from Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10AM in St. Teresa's RC Church, Akron, Monsignor Robert J. Williamson will officiate.
Burial:
  Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
Memorials:
  Expressions of sympathy in Sam's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
