  Ray was a graduate of Burgard High School in Buffalo, NY. Following high school Ray went on to work as a service man at the Tonawanda Chevy Power Train Engine Plant for the past 33 years where he worked right up until his illness. He was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Kenmore, NY. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.

  Ray was the son of Edward and Josephine (Hudy) Kasperek of Buffalo,NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Bonnie (Snyder) Kasperek of Lockport, NY. Dear father of Rachel (Joe Raab) Kasperek of Buffalo, NY, Eric Kasperek, and Amber Kasperek both of Lockport, NY. Son-in-law of Judy Ivey and Kirby (Suzanne) Snyder both of Amherst, NY. Brother of John (Cindy) Kasperek of Grand Island, NY, Karen (Steve) Clark of Buffalo, NY, Barbara (Daniel) McCormick of Angola, NY, Andy (Terry) Kasperek of Buffalo, NY and the late Donald Kasperek. Brother-in-law of Joanne Kasperek of Colden, NY, Brian (Mary Ann) Snyder, Bruce (Denise) Snyder, both of Tonawanda, NY and Barry Snyder of Lockport, NY. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews
Viewing info:
  Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME LLC, 10 Eckerson Ave. Akron, NY where services will be held on Friday at 11 AM.
