	History:	Penny was a graduate of Clarence High School, class of 1964 and for several years she worked in the elementary cafeteria in the Akron Central School. She also enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of St. Teresa's RC Church, Akron.
	Family:	Daughter of the late Nelson and Tina (Patton) Hirsch. Penny is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, John Burkhardt, dear mother of Tammy (William) Chiro of Alabama, N.Y., John (Michele) Burkhardt of Akron, N.Y. and the late Kimberly E. and Kristine E. Burkhardt; cherished grandmother of William Jr. and Zachary Chiro. Sister of David Hirsch of Lancaster, NY, Linda (Matt) Kistka of Williamsville, NY, Diane (Donald) Leising of Akron, NY, Jay Hirsch of Buffalo, NY, and the late Michael and Mickey Jean Hirsch. Several nieces and nephews also survived.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME LLC, A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Teresa's RC Church, Akron.
