  Born in Germany October 6, 1911. She was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Woitowitz) Gliem. Pauline came to the United States was she was 12 years of age.
  She was a homemaker all her life because she enjoyed taking care of her family. Pauline was the oldest member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Akron. At one time, she was active in the Eastern Star and she, also enjoyed knitting and sewing in her spare time
Family:
  Pauline was the wife of the late Karl Klenert who passed away in 1986 and her second husband Henry Monkelbaan who passed away in 1996. She was the loving mother of Alvina (late Carl) Kumpf of Akron and the late Dianne Cook. Mother in law of Jack Cook of Tucson, AZ; Proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Pauline was predeceased by her brothers and sisters; Theresa, Paul, Mary, Frank, Paula and Rose. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and friends.

  Memorial Services will be held on Saturday October 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave, Akron. Rev. Laurie Carson-Nelson and Rev. Terry White will officiate.
Burial:
  Burial will be in Acacia Park and Resthaven Cemetery, N.Tonawanda, New York
