History:
  Nettie graduated from Akron High School in 1932 and then went on to graduate from the Bryant & Stratton Business College in Buffalo. Since 1936 Mrs. Charles, along with her husband Arthur, owned and operated the Akron Green House, until she retired in 2002. She was a member of St. Teresa's RC Church in Akron, where she was involved in the Altar and Rosary Society. Nettie also enjoyed serving as Den Leader for the local Cub Scout and Girl Scout Troops.
Family:
  Nettie was the daughter of the late John and Antoinette (Koozil) Preisach. Loving wife of the late Arthur A. Charles, who died in 1995; mother of Michael (Mary) Charles of Akron and the late Arthur J. Charles who died in 1939; grandmother of Dr. John (Bonnie) and Dr. Richard (Mary) Charles; great-grandmother of five; twin sister of the late John Maha and sister of Rudolph, Louis, Frank, Lee and Charlie Mrha, Francis Walsh and Marie Mrha; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Viewing info:
  The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in the St. Teresa's RC Church.
Burial:
  Burial will be in St. Teresa's RC Cemetery, Akron.
