History:
  Daughter of the late Walter and Clara (Bromstead) Seitz. She graduated from Alden High School, class of 1941 and went on to work for Curtiss Wright Corp. in Buffalo, Sylvania Electric Products in Batavia and finally at Whiting Roll-Up Door in Akron working at the switch board and then in sales and design, retiring after 20 years. Louise was a 55-year member of the First Baptist Church in Akron, where she served as Deacon, former Sunday School teacher, former secretary at the church and was in charge of the Memorial Committee. She enjoyed Square dancing, quilting, baking and fishing.
Family:
  Louise spend many years caring for her dear husband, the late Percy H. Ball, whom she married October 31, 1942; loving mother of Robert (Rhonda) Ball of Pavilion, NY, William (Mary Jane) Ball of Alexandria Bay and the late Sandra Flint (died Nov. 24, 1997); mother in-law of James Flint of Lyndonville; proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Raymond (Arlene) Seitz of Clarence Center, Walter (Janet) Seitz of Alden and Janet (late Clyde) Dersam also of Alden; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Viewing info:
  Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME- 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 AM in the First Baptist Church – 122 Main St., Akron, NY 14001. Rev. Jack Oliphant will officiate.
Burial:
  Burial will be in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in Akron.

  Expressions of sympathy in Louise’s memory may be made to the Memorial Fund- First Baptist Church, to the United Memorial Medical Center (127 North St., Batavia, NY 14020) or to the Akron-Newstead Food Pantry (4809 S. Newstead Rd., Akron, NY 14001).
