	Place of Passing:	Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Amherst, New York. After a hard fought 10 Year battle with Breast Cancer turned metastatic.
	Resided in:	Lancaster, New York
	History:	Kandy was a graduate of Kensington High School Class of 1968 in Buffalo, NY. Following graduation she went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College. Kandy then went onto teach for 34 wonderful years at Akron Central Elementary School. Kandy was intensely proud to be the Chairman for the Akron Relay for Life for eight years. It was her way of helping to wipe out that dreaded disease which claimed her life. To the very end of her life she was a Buffalo Bills fanatic, and an avid crafter.
	Family:	Kandy was the daughter of Mendall "Beane" Beane of Titusville, Pa. and the late Barbara (Rumbaugh) Beane. Kandy was the loving wife of her high school sweetheart Salvatore "Sam" A. Palmeri of Lancaster, NY ; dear mother of Kelly L. (Charles M.) Herod of Hamburg, NY; cherished grandmother of Colton A. Herod; sister of Sherry (Paul) Huegel of San Antonio Texas, Linda (Michael) Schirching of Spencerport, NY, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Beane of Coppell, Texas and the late Michael Beane. Also surviving are 14 nieces and nephews
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, where services will be held on Monday at 10 AM.
