	History:	Joe was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School in San Diego, California he also attended Akron School before moving to California. Mr. Matusek was owner of several local businesses over the years including Joe's Delicatessen, Kendall's Express Trucking Co., and Mr. Joes Restaurant. He was also a Salesman for Perry's Ice Cream Co. for 17 years and was the regional salesman/distributor for Ford Gum and Machine Co. for 17 year. Joe was a member of St. Teresa's RC Church in Akron. He was a former member of the Akron Lions Club and he was an avid fisherman
	Family:	Joe was the loving husband of 67 years to the former Katherine (Eadie) Matusek; dear father of Joseph J. (Diane) Matusek and William Matusek both of Akron, NY; grandfather of four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother of the late Steven and Leslie Matusek; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 8 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME LLC, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Teresa's RC Church, Akron.
