	History:	John was the son of the late Robert and Edna (Fountain) Kelkenberg. John was a graduate of Akron Central High School class of 1954. He went onto proudly serve his country in the United States Army serving from 1958-1960. John was a long time employee for Yoder Brothers in Clarence Center, NY as a Diesel Mechanic. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Clarence, NY
	Family:	Survivors include his loving wife Guin (Hoste) whom he married October 4, 1975. John is also survived by; many brothers and sisters along, with several nieces and nephews.

	Burial:	Grave side services were held on Thursday August 14, 2009 at 1 PM in Pioneer Cemetery, Akron. Chaplain Bob Fink of Hospice officiated.
