History:
  He had owned and operated Young's Auto & House Wrecking Co. in Akron, a family business which was started by his father in 1959, serving all of WNY. It is now R&Y Salvage Co. and is owned and operated by his son James Jr.
Family:
  Jim was the son of the late Isburn and Hazel (Eddy) Young. He is survived by his loving wife Marlowe (Lounsbury) Young, whom he married May 25, 1957; dear father of Brenda, James Jr. and Jeffrey Young all of Akron, NY; grandfather of Donna and William Cramer and great-grandfather of Adam Cramer; brother of Hazel (John) Kellner, Millard (Barbara) Young both of Akron, NY, Ruth (Edwin) Duermyer of Alden, NY and Viola Young also of Akron, NY; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Viewing info:
  The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, where funeral services will also be held Thursday at 11 AM.
Burial:
  Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery, Akron.

  Flowers gratefully declined, expressions of sympathy in Jim's memory may be made instead to Hospice Buffalo- 225 Como Park Blvd., Buffalo, NY 14227 or to Hearts and Hands Faith in Action- 50 John St., Akron, NY 14001.
