	History:	After graduating high school, she went on to become a homemaker, raising 5 children. Mrs. Bencic was a member of the Pembroke Community Church and was also a member of the Akron-Newstead Quilting Club.
	Family:	She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Cybak) Romanik. Beloved wife of George Bencic Sr., of whom she married May 29, 1943; loving mother of George (Mary) Jr. of Clarence, NY, David (Janice) of Batavia, NY, Robert (Kathy) of N. Tonawanda, NY, Kenneth Bencic of Akron, NY and Cheryl (Gerald) Truesdale of N. Tonawanda, NY; dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister of Anne Romanik of Akron and Edward (Helen) Romanik of Detroit, MI; aunt of several nieces and nephews.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. Memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 AM in the Pembroke Community Church, 692 Main Rd., Corfu, NY 14036.
	Burial:	Burial will be in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Akron.
	Memorials:	In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Pembroke Community Church.
