	History:	Gary was the son of the late August and Edna (Cummings) Witzleben. He attended Akron High School. At one time, Gary worked for Yoder Brothers in Clarence Center and for many years he worked as a mechanic for the Village of Akron. Gary attended the Rapids Bible Church on Rapids Road in Lockport. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
	Family:	Dear husband of Joan (Shephard) Witzleben, whom he married June 23, 1962; loving father of Ann Marie Rodemeyer of Akron and Steven (Venus Criswell) Witzleben of Lockport; grandfather of two grandchildren- Ashton and Amber Witzleben; brother of Judith (Ray) McLaughlin of Clarence; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron where his funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Rev. Larry Bentley, Pastor of the Rapids Bible Church will officiate.
	Burial:	Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery, Akron.
