Age 79 Place of Birth: Basom, NY Place of Passing: Buffalo Veterans Hospital Resided in: Corfu, NYHistory: Mr. Abrams attended Akron High School. He went on too proudly serve his country during the Korean Conflict. Frank served in the Navy, Coast Guard and the Merchant Marines. After the service he went to work for the National Gypsum Company in Clarence Center as a laborer retiring in 1979.
A Sub Chief for the Snipe Clan, Frank also was a member of the VFW and the Myron Ground Post, both on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation. His other memberships included the VFW Post # 3180 in Akron and the Loyal Order of Moose in Salamanca.Family: Son of the late Albert and Berusha (Skye) Abrams. Surviving is his loving wife, the former Patricia Rosowski whom he married July 13, 1992; dear father of Curtis, Christine, Francine (Dale Graff), Tony (Roxanne), Alan and Cynthia Abrams, Jeffery (Patty), Kathi Lynn, Lori Alband and Michelle Alband; grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and the late Kee Abrams and Laura Peppel; brother of Walter (Lenore) Abrams, Myron Abrams, Shirley Snyder and the late Milton, William, Woodrow, Homer, Robert Abrams and Cora Brooks; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.Viewing info: Family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, where services will be held Sunday at 1 PM followed by services at the Longhouse at 2 PM.Burial: Burial will be in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Akron.Memorials: Memorials in Frank's memory, to the Corfu or Crittenden Fire Companies or to the American Heart Association.
