	History:	Mrs. Cummings attended Lancaster School. Besides being a homemaker, Evelyn worked at Bermaitz Factory on Walden Ave. in Buffalo, retiring after several years of employment. At one time she had worked at the former Rochester Button Factory in Akron. She was a member of the Corfu Presbyterian Church as well as the Corfu Senior Citizens. Mrs. Cummings was an avid bowler and loved doing ceramics.
	Family:	She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Clara (Koch) Schmidt. Loving mother of Dennis (Paula) Cummings of Akron and Diane (David) Burns of Bradenton, FL; grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; dear Aunt of Janet Pfalzer of Corfu and Joyce O'Connor of FL; several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Cummings was predeceased by her husband Arnold Cummings , who died in 1991, her twin sister Eleanor Winter and her brother Kenneth Schmidt.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. Funeral services will also be held there on Thursday at 11 AM, where Rev. Charles Alexander will officiate.
	Burial:	Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery in Akron.
	Memorials:	Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church in Corfu.
