	Place of Passing:	Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Hospice Unit following a long illness.
	Resided in:	Akron, New York
	History:	Eric was a graduate of Akron Central School Class of 2002. He also attended Genesee County Community College. Eric was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church in Clarence and the Akron Free Methodist Church. Eric was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams being the Sabres and the Bills. Eric was an inspiration to many with his disability showing us all his courage and determination to survive, relying on his faith to ensure his legacy on earth and be with God in death.
	Family:	He was the loving son of Nancy (William) Michel of Akron. Besides his parents, Eric is also survived by his dear sisters Kimberly Whitlocke (Greg Stifter) and Sarah Whitlocke (Lyle Ellsworth) both of Akron; stepbrother of Adam Michel of Leroy, NY and Jennifer (Chris) Moss of South Carolina; grandson of Lucianne (late Julius) Tee of Clarence, NY; uncle of 3 nieces and 2 nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends also survive.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends on Friday from 4-7 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, where services will follow at 7 PM.
	Burial:	Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Swormsville, N.Y.
