Elsie worked at ADESA Buffalo, Akron, NY in the Accounts Payable Department, retiring after many years. She was an avid animal lover.Family: Beloved wife of the late Peter T. Chatt, died 2002; loving mother of Mark (Merry Lou Dembrow) Novak, Deborah (Thomas) Forrestel both of Akron, NY and Kenneth Novak of Darien, NY; proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren- Jessica and Jared Novak, Melani Cinotti, Emily, Malarie and Thomas Smart Jr. and Nathan Forrestel; 4 great-grandchildren and the late Ashton Maynard; dear sister of Ross Woodman of Alberta, Canada, Shirley (Robert) Wulf of Williamsville, Anna (late Robert) Martin of Lancaster and Leta (late James) Rollo of Akron; also survived by several nieces and nephews.Viewing info: Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. A celebration of her life will take place Thursday at 11 AM in the Tonawanda Indian Baptist Church, Basom. Rev.
