Cindy owned and operated Cindy Cab, a cab service in Buffalo and also worked for Buffalo Transportation for 7 years. She was a member of the SPCA, from where she took in and cared for many feral cats and of Feral Focus.. Cindy also enjoyed sewing and doing arts and crafts. She was very family oriented and cherished her grandchildren.Family: Cindy was the daughter of Joseph and the late MaryJane (Emery) Dellapenta. Cindy is survived by 3 loving children- Jack Gerard (Amy) Grainy of Akron, Heather Mae (Rodney McKenzie) Grainy of Alabama and Angela Joanne (Dennis) Warren of Akron; companion of 12 years Joseph Gerland; proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren; and one brother Joseph (Bonnie) Dellapenta of Pembroke.Viewing info: Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.Burial: PrivateMemorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the family.
