	Resided in:	Akron, NY
	History:	Chuck attended Akron High School. He went on to work as a farmer and then as a truck driver for the Ashland Oil Co. in Tonawanda, NY for over 20 years, retiring in 1986. Chuck was involved in the Akron-Newstead Seniors as well as the Clarence Senior Citizens and enjoyed farming, playing cards and spending quality time with family and friends.
	Family:	He was the son of the late Floyd and Olive (Yocum) McNiff. Dear husband of 54 years to the late Muriel (Stecher) who died Dec. 2004; loving father of Charles (Darlene) McNiff of Clarence Center, NY and Connie (Tim) Darling of Freedom, NY; and the late Susan Berghorn, father-in-law of Dennis Berghorn of Akron, NY, grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of Kyle Kamrowski.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Zion Lutheran Church, 9635 Clarence Center Rd., Clarence Center, NY. Rev. Steven Biegner will officiate.
	Burial:	Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery, Akron.
