	History:	For many years Cecil was a drywall hanger, finisher and painter for the Painters District #4 in Cheektowaga, New York. During his spare time he enjoyed ice fishing, and hunting. He was always tinkering with anything that was old, seeing how it worked and restoring it. Cecil was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed going to the casino. He also enjoyed special times with his family and friends.
	Family:	Son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Smith) Roland. Mr. Roland was the husband of 56 years to the late Catherine (Mitchell) Roland who passed away on November 13, 2001. Loving father of Cindy M. (Richard) Swader of Akron, N.Y. and Cheryl J. (Joseph) Monaco of Niagara Falls, N.Y. Dear grandfather of Scott R. (Wendy) Swader, Shelly A. (Steve) Schleef and Derek J. (Crystal) Swader, great grandfather of Amanda, Lauren and Cara Swader, Ryan and Sara Schleef , Skyler Holzman and Gracie Swader. Mr. Roland was predeceased by 16 siblings. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Brother in law of Warren R. (Beverly) Clark and C. Jerry (Jan) Clark.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 to 8 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, LLC 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, N.Y. Services will follow at 8PM.
