	History:	Betty earned her Associate Degree from the University of Buffalo. Mrs. Thomas served as a Secretary for Buffalo State College for 18 years before her retirement. Betty also was a Professor of Genealogy where she taught her expertise at the University of Buffalo and Erie County Community College. Her membership included the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lancaster, New York. Betty also enjoyed card making.
	Family:	She was the daughter of the late Lester and Betty (Timby) Hale. Survivors include her loving husband Mark Thomas of Akron, a daughter Vickie (Peter) Alba of Amherst, NY a son Dan Davis of Florida and a stepdaughter Suzanne (Gary) McClure of Florida. Grandmother of six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sister of; Pam Wyle of New Hampshire. Also surviving are 4 niceces. Betty was predeceased by her late husbands, Paul Davis and Arthur Keehn.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, Where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Speaker Roger Showalter of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will conduct the service.
	Burial:	Burial will be in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Akron.
