  Al was a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School. He was a crop farmer and operated a green house for most of his life, and was an avid snowmobiler, but most importantly, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He attended Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church on Greiner Road in Clarence.

  Son of the late John M. and Rebecca (Hartz) Mast;Loving husband of 57 years to Marilyn (Hackman) Mast. Popular father of Gwen (David) Eubanks Clarence, Louise (Gary) Bishop, of Boston Mass., Ronald (Waneta) Mast of Mifflintown, Pa., LaMar (Julie) Mast of Fillmore N.Y, Ruby (Thomas) Baldwin of Clarence Center N.Y., Gerald (Sheryl) Mast of Canby Oregon, Leon (Bridget) Mast of Fillmore N.Y., and Grace (Keith) Albrecht, of Clarence, N.Y. Proud “Pop-pop to 24 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; Also surviving are 6 sisters, Edna (James) Good, of Pa., Ida Swartley, of Virginia, Ruth Anna (Darrel) Otto, of Colorado, Naomi (Chester) Sensenig, Warwick N.Y., Selena Grace (Kenneth) Horning of Pa. and the late Esther Kniss. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
